Late Summer/Fall 2023 Overview
An impressive learning season for 2023 gave the nonprofit even more things to reconsider and focus on to improve how to support the various community changes happening this year. As we collect and review the data and feedback of all the participants support, we hope to help in any way that combines advancement and stability.
COPPER - Community Outreach Preparedness
TSCION is reestablishing its preparedness outreach with COPPER (Community Outreach Preparedness Program for Emergency Response). COPPER, which previously provided food security support during COVID-19, is now looking at medical support, mental health support, and cognitive protection for elders.
It’s Time to Acknowledge that Tscion is an NGO
As our society faces environmental and community concerns, Tscion is working to embrace its Non-Gorvemental Organization (NGO) status by expanding outreach to address current events and emergency preparedness concerns.
Over $500 in Donated Healthy Options
Tscion’s Just A Bag Program has now donated up to $500 in healthy food options for Colorado residents in need. The donations have expressly contained vegetarian, vegan, and organic food options for those with dietary requirements.
Tscion Chapter Officially in Illinois
Tscion officially formed its Illinois Chapter to expand community outreach services and workforce support to Illinois residents and participants.
New Charitable Food Drive
Starting this November, Tscion is testing a food drive program, Just A Bag, that allows any and all to contribute to those in need.
Pupsey, Pet support for those in need
Pupsey is a pet support program for Colorado residents in need of vet costs and pet resources. Pupsey is currently in development, launching Spring 2023.
Palo Alto to Greater Los Angeles
Tscion is moving its California headquarters from Palo Alto to Greater Los Angeles in June.
