RLSP- Rural to Living Sustainability Project is the Official Name of the City to Scenery 4 Year Long Research

Now in its final stage of pilot research data assessment, RLSP (Rural to Living Sustainability Project) is the official name that details the 4-year observation of the needs of city-suburban area US residents considering moving to rural areas. Our project primarily focuses on the needs within America’s Colorado Rural area. This project will release segmented data to provide an overview of living conditions experienced within an extensive 4-year period in Central Area Colorado. Data-driven observations will be provided with summarized reports, blog posts, and updates for general readers. In addition, an extended content analysis will be published in Tscion’s journal, The Sustainable Desk’s 2024 issue.

As the project expands within Colorado’s city areas, the project looks to receive culturally significant input from such as underserved rural area residents, East Africa, Mexican, and Greater Syria immigrants who currently live in Colorado to support regional agricultural knowledge that mirrors some US environmental challenges and US residents can benefit from the Colorado areas. Socio-economic factors are also reviewed to understand how residents can become self-sustainable within most of Colorado’s ecologically diverse areas.

The reports will also review how various environmental education methods can contribute to a “City to Rural” ratio scale coding and an Emergency Preparedness Ratings System to review resident relocation readiness. These surveys will help interested participants better understand cultural, environmental, and socio-economic limitations and how to be better informed before moving to areas that may present general resources and needs.

Once the 4-year pilot project is completed, Tscion Research plans to provide yearly data reports showing improvements in service gaps and added challenges for residents who have attempted or participated in the location. The first data publishing begins in April 2024.
