Higher Education - Mental Health & Professional Advancement-Study
During March and April, Tscion Research is developing a series of surveys that evaluate the needs and identifiers within Higher Education for Women and Men. This project starts with Black/African American women within the US to provide honest answers through a blind study to evaluate cultural, professional, generational, and socio-economic factors that may help or hinder professional advancements in correlation with mental health. Tscion Research designed surveys will be based on cultural relevancy for each group. It will receive direct input from employees who worked or are currently employed within Higher Education administration, staff, faculty, and campus support. This data collection will occur in 2024-2028; Black Men in Higher Education 2025; Asian Americans 2025-2026; Latin Americans 2026; Rural/Underserved Whites/Caucasian Americans 2027; Indigenous/Islanders 2027-2028. The Complete study should be completed by 2028-2029 to determine factors for each group that may not generally be evaluated based on cultural needs or concerns when solely basing deficiencies, limitations, or strengths on race.
