RLSP - 5 Year Energy Assessment
In May 2025, data collection for the fifth year for energy assessment begins, determining how adjustments of use, appliance changes, gas to electric usage, and other efficiency improvements improved costs of electric billing. The determining factor also includes data sheets provided by CORE Electric and the new 2025 rate changes of 3% increase starting May 1, 2025[1]. These new changes are to be reviewed[2], based on prior rate changes[3] by CORE Electric.
These new changes to rates create the opportunity to see billing differences to determine the quantitative differences from the prior electric usage data from 2020 - 2024.
Factors are based on the addition of energy efficient appliances, LED lighting, addition of EV implementation, electric baseboard usage, and other electric based equipment.
Data for this assessment will be reviewed for at least 5 months.
