In-Development, Cont’ Education, Teacher Program

Tscion Academia is developing a proposed TBA-Named program that helps teachers interested in continuing education and additional certification support. Tscion is working with academic consultants that have professional development and college enrollment experience, needed to carefully assist teachers in navigating the academic, professional, and financial requirements needed to return to college. Consultation would assist teachers in what steps are necessary for State and Local school districts. Support services for participating teachers would include:

• Current Teacher Profile Review

• Understanding State Requirements for Teaching Credentials

• Reviewing State and District Teacher Credential Programs

• Professional Development Evaluations

• Test Prep and Requirement Reviews for Teacher Certification

• Consultation of Subject Matter areas vs. participant talents

The program pre-screens teachers and prepares them for State and Local teacher certification and professional expectations. It also supports college re-entry concerns regarding over-enrollment and how to avoid unnecessary fees for teachers who already hold degrees or subject matter certification.
