Larn, is a youth program working to improve environmental literacy and emergency preparedness. Larn also works to consult education systems by reviewing EE curricula, developing activities, and presenting more environmental enrichment.  

Larn utilizes an environmental education framework, called the Tscion Research for Environmental Education, Enrichment, and Stewardship. The TREEES framework is designed to provide activities and improve cultural enrichment for students, teachers, and the community’s EE (Environmental Education) literacy, and emergency preparedness. 

Environmental Education

• Provide hands-on, online, and real-world discovery with ecological learning and increase understanding of general science. 
• Provide various learning scenarios that present cultural relevancy and improve community interactions with nature.
• Pique interest that inspires environmental understanding beyond commercial descriptions and political rhetoric. 

Preparedness

• Working with Federal or State level Emergency Management programs that cover procedures for disasters. 
• Educating the community on general environmental and emergency preparedness information, detailing response protocol. 
• Support leadership training and capacity building for areas that have cultural, socio-economic, or language deficiencies that prevent substantial contributions and support for first-responders.
